Orlando Magic HQ (originally founded as Orlando Magic Rumors) was founded by Anthony Velez in 2010. Anthony started the Instagram account to connect with other fans who shared his passion for the Orlando Magic. His interest in graphic design gave him a way to keep fans informed with the latest Magic news, rumors, and updates while building a community around the team. Over the years, the account has grown into one of the most recognized Orlando Magic fan-media platforms on Instagram and a trusted destination for fans looking for timely updates and authentic conversation.

Our journey

In 2019, Al Grullon approached Anthony and others with an idea to start an Orlando Magic podcast built around current news, honest analysis, and authentic commentary from fans who share a passion for the team. The idea became a reality in November 2019 with the launch of The OZone Podcast. The show welcomed players, broadcasters, reporters, and other figures from across the Magic and basketball community. In January 2023, the podcast became the Orlando Magic HQ Podcast to better align with the Orlando Magic HQ brand.

In early 2021, Al officially joined Anthony as a member of the Orlando Magic HQ team, assisting with daily Instagram content and helping build a broader Orlando Magic HQ media brand. That growth brought new branding, an expanded YouTube presence, and the launch of OrlandoMagicHQ.com.

One home for Magic fans

Today, the Orlando Magic HQ Podcast is co-hosted by Anthony Velez, Al Grullon, and Stephen Cameron, with new episodes released every Friday. OrlandoMagicHQ.com serves as the central home for the podcast, social media updates, video content, membership and community information, and the Orlando Magic HQ article archive.
